Click the Colors window button at the top of the fill or
stroke color palette, or choose Window > Colors.

Click the Solid tab to display the panel for changing
solid colors. |

Select the color in the palette you want to change. |

Change the color in the following ways: |

To set the hue, tint, and brightness, drag the crosshair
in the color space to define the hue and move the slider
to the right of the hue bar to set the tint and
brightness. |

To define the degree of transparency for the color, use
the slider or enter a percentage in the Alpha box, from 0
for complete transparency, to 99 for some transparency
(100 is opaque). Solid colors with transparency appear
with a grid showing through the color.

To define a color by the value of its red, green, and
blue components, enter values in the appropriate text
boxes. |
 |
To define a color by its hex value, select the Hex
option, and enter the hex value in the RGB text boxes. |

When you have finished changing color settings, do one
of the following: |

To replace the currently selected color with a newly
defined color, click Change. |
 |
To add a newly defined color to the end of the color
table, click New. |
 |
To delete the currently selected color cell from the
color table, click Delete. |

To prepare the movie for use in a browser, turn on Solid
Colors to match the selected color in the color space to
the closest color from the palette of 216 web-safe colors. |
