Moving and copying objects by pasting
Move or copy objects by pasting when you need to move them
between layers, scenes, or other Flash files. When pasting
objects, you can paste them in the center of the Stage or in their
Stage-relative position.
To move or copy an object by pasting:

Select an object or multiple objects. |

Choose Edit > Cut or Edit > Copy. |

Select another layer, scene, or file and choose one of
the following: |

Edit > Paste to paste the selection in the center of
the Stage. |

Edit > Paste in Place to paste the selection in the
same position relative to the Stage. |
