 Chapter - 1 : Start a Program

Button for Start Menu
To display the Start menu move the mouse over Start and then press the left button *

Start Menu
The Start menu appears

Available Programs
To display the programs available on your computer, move the mouse over Programs and then press the left button **

View Additional Programs
To view additional programs (example: Accessories), move the mouse over a menu item displaying an arrow ( ) and then press the left button
5)..
List of Programs
Move the mouse over the program you want to start (example: WordPad) and then press the left button

Note:- To close the Start menu without selecting a program, move the mouse outside the menu area and then press the left button.

* To display the start menu using the keyboard, press and hold down the Ctrl key and then press the Esc key

** To select a menu item using the keyboard, press the key for the underlined letter (example: P for Programs)
